This phone is overclocked and this is the prime reason for its heating. By the new update version 45 Bara has claimed to solve this but for me it almost remains same. The back of the cover also makes a creaking sound sometimes.
The screen glass is fragile and can break anytime with even a mild force. battery stays for a day for average user.heavy user may have to charge it twice daily. RAM management has improved a bit after update but you cannot get more than 410MB. I have used Nova launcher as MIUI confuses me.
Screen response is great and other wise the phone is good if you compare it with others in the same budget. Old branded company will sell similar specs phone at around 10K. They need to open more service centers. The hardware test is still in chinese language and needs a Kitkat upgrade soon but I think its better is they give a Lolipop upgrade directly coz it has the correct hardware.
I do not find any issues as such but there are so many people with so many complaints. I have already used it for 20 days and I do not find much issue. Ambient temperature does matter to see how much you can feel the heat. The external glass though is fragile and many have cracked due to simple stress. It also depends on individual piece that may be too good or too bad.
When I received the packaging was damaged and the phone external box had a serious dent in it showing this had fallen from some height s I was expecting some serious damage inside but may be it survived the fall. The external blue packet was also torn suggesting malhandling. Also we should compare this phone with other phones whose price is near 6000/- and not double or triple price. English user guide is missing online also so you have to depend on forum to learn MIUI.
