I'm writing the review after owning and using Redmi 1S for around 3 months from now.
After all hype and waiting for a successful buying attempt on flipkart sale(Flash) I got this phone. I give the pros and cons to keep it simple and straight.
Pros:
1.Value for money
2.Good display
3.Good camera(only during day time)
- Good config.
Cons:
1.A couple of apps opened and the phone hangs, come on! is this all a QUAD CORE Processor phone can do.
2.Does the phone has Qualcom Snapdragon quad core processor! Excuse me!
3.Thick and heavy(Remember to see the weight of the phone on flipkart site you will not find), Its 150+grams and hand starts paining if you hold and use for around 10mins.
4.Camera at night shot is not
5.Only 200mb ram is free at any given point of time.
6.Even if an 8gb external card is put, the storage space is not increasing
(For the phone storage shows 8gb and if I put an additional 8gb card it still shows 8gb storage only)
- Phone software for PC is in chinese language.
Next time if you hear about a revolutionary budget phone, be careful to notice the weight and speed, RAM, Storage SPACE etc.
