First I was very skeptical about this phone, that how can any company in the world give this much features in a phone in this price segment. This phone actually cost only Rs 21000 and have lots of features that are only present in flagship phones. And some of the features are not even present on flagship phones. This phone is now famous in all over the world because of it's price and features ratio. Let me tell you about some of it's unique features that you will not get in this price segment.
Unique features =
1 - Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor ( this processor is fastest and newest. Only flagship phones which cost more then Rs 30, 000 have this processor)
2 - IR face unlock ( Because of this now we can unlock our phone with face unlock even in pitch dark conditions)
3 - Water vapour cooling system ( Your phone will never heat up like other phones. Only flagship phones like Samsung S9+ have this feature, which cost more then Rs 70, 000)
4 - Enhanced 4G ( This 4G+ feature will increase your internet speed where ever this feature is available.
Now let's talk about pros of this phone =
1 - Snapdragon 845 chipset with 6GB RAM means this phone is actually fastest phone under Rs 30, 000)
2 - 12MP ( Sony) + 5MP ( Samsung) Rear camera whose quality is very nice. ( We can even use google pixel 3 camera on and get awesome night/low light photos)
3 - 20MP front camera with f2.0 which takes amazing selfies.
4 - 64GB internal memory ( which is actually UFS type of memory. This type of memory is only available in flagship phones and gives best speed)
5 - 6.18 inch screen size which is FHD+ with 460 nits of brightness ( best quality screen which is comparable to AMOLED screen)
Now let's talk about it's cons =
1 - Some users experiencing screen bleeding issue but I don't have that issue in my phone. You can always replace it on Flipkart or on Mi website.
2 - Widewine level is 3. But they will give support for level 1 via ota update. So this will also be solved.
3 - Back is actually madeup of polycarbonate polymer ( For some it is a con but you can buy a good case like I did and problem solved. Having this type of of cover is actually beneficial because you will get better network signal and you phone will never heat up) .
As you can see you are actually getting more then what you are paying, that's why this is "Phone of the year". So go ahead and buy this phone, you can't find any other better phone then this in this price segment.
