Xiaomi is not that popular when it comes to tablets, but inspite of being that, their tablets especially the Mi Pad is a very good tablet for budget buyers.
The tablet comes with a 2.2 Ghz Quad core Nvidia Tegra K1 processor along with 2 gigs of ram.Now thats quite impressive for a price of Rs 12, 999.
But the tab doesnt performs as well as it is intended to, mainly because of the overheating issues with exteneded gaming and multitasking.But for a normal user this device performs quite well.The UI on the other hand is quite smooth and responds well
The battery is also very good in this device and it wont be a problem for anyone using it.Also it takes good pictures for a tablet.
The 7.9 inches display is damn awesome for the price and I even doubt the presence of anyother better display in this price range.Also it has stereo speakers and an SD card option in addition to the 16 gigs of internal storage.This tablet is perfect for watching movies and browing the net.
The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection but the display is a fingerprint magnet.I would better suggest you to put some additional scratch guard or tempered glass on top of that.
The design is also quite neat and feels good in hand
I would definitelly recommend this to those who are looking for an entertainment tablet at a budget price, The only con for me being the overheating issues while playing games for a long time or while using it heavily.
