I don't know if it's specific to my device, but the MI pad heats up a lot even when using the tablet for 5-10 minutes. Although the tab has got good specs with 2GB RAM and Nvidia Tegra K1 processor, the performance is top notch and any high end game is buttery smooth on the MI Pad.
Also the screen quality is simply awesome and it is an amazing experience to watch movies or videos on this tablet. Since it has 6700MAh battery the playback time is good. Also the cameras are above average for a tablet in this price. Their is expandable storage so no worries there.
The MIUI runs ok on the tab but there are occasional lag while switching apps. I would love the tablet only if I could use it at least for a little stretch, but the temperature rise is so aggressive that I have to rest it for few minutes every 10min of usage.
