My friend has an Mi 4i and I borrowed it from him for a day or so and here is my experience of using this flagship device of Xiaomi.
Camera - In this department this device steals the show. Its camera is definitely better than its counterparts in the other companies. The camera works well in both day and night conditions and I definitely loved it. HDR Mode is brilliant and front camera is best in this price range.
Display - Display is 5 inches only so it is a downside but the resolution is amazing. If you are satisfied with 5" then you'll love it.
Performance - MiUi has been optimized very nicely for this phone. The MiUi handles the RAM amazingly unlike other Mi devices. The processor performs decently while multi tasking. So it has an upper edge in terms of performance. But Gaming experience was not so good. Games like Dead Trigger 2 didn't run properly.
Overall this phone is worth buying.
