The mi4 is a GREAT phone, especially for the price today. however,
even the 4G/LTE version has a very limited number of bands which
makes LTE useless for most EU or US carriers even if your phone is
a mi4 LTE ( you can check the bands available in the specs and
compare them with the ones available from your providers) . Newer
phones like the mi5 or mi4c have the EU most popular 3 and 7
bands ( but lack the 20) , so LTE will work in most europe but you
have to check.People always complain about phones not having a card slot or
removable battery but then it later creates problems for the company
because people ( are stupid creatures and) always use lousy/
improperly formatted cards and/or third party batteries, then blame
any damage on the company.
