X-Cite is Exciting. Review on X Cite, Aundh, Pune

I recently planned to buy a new TV and a Refrigerator. I tell you, so many products and stores are available in market that one would easily get confused. **What to buy and From whereto buy????? More over that people don’t knowtheir own requirements.

Well, good news is that I have bought a new TV(Samsung, 29inch, ultra thin flat screen) and Refrigerator (Samsung, 195ltr) but in this process I went through a variety of experiences at three electronic stores nearand around my residence. **Tata’s Croma inAundh , X-Cite in Aundh and Mumbai’s Vijay Sales in Baner, Pune.

To make the review more comparative and decisive, I will raise each point and then compare the three stores one by one.

Pricing : The most important factor. The prices were same in all three stores. (no one will mind a difference between Rs.10990/- and Rs.11000/- )(ALL WIN)

Variety : The second most important factor because it gives you more availability of choices.The variety is similar in Chroma and X-cite but Vijay Sales keeps less variety.(CHROMA and XCITE WIN)

Discount: Again an important factor which can be attractive for a customer. X-Cite gives 2%reward points to its customers on any purchase. Means for each purchase of Rs.100/-you would get 2 reward points each of value one rupee. So I earned some 500 points of worth Rs 500/- from X-cite. No such schemes there at Chroma and Vijaysales.(X-Cite Wins)

Reception : Though it is not a main deciding factor but plays an important role while other things are similar. My wife and me entered in Chroma but no one was there to attend us, it was not the case that all the sales people were busy with other customers. They were standing in groups and were busy in gossips. At the other hand, the Scenario was entirely different in Vijay sales and X-Cite. At both stores, as soon as you would enter, you would be treated as a gold customer. Certainly it makes an difference.(X-Cite and VijaySales Win)

Sales Force:When no one was there to attend in Chroma, I asked one sales person to show me available TV model in the store. He asked my option for LCD or Normal and as per my choice he took us to where the normal TV were kept. While we were checking the price tags and models of TV he was just standing there without asking my specific requirements or suggesting any model. I saw some models and noted price and features and walked out from the store.

Then I reached to X-Cite, that is not far from Chroma. As soon as I entered in X-Cite a girl greeted us with a smile on her face and asked me about my purpose of visit. He leaded me to the sales person for TV section. The person at TV sectionwas very active and smart, he asked about my requirements, my budget and then other choices about colors etc.

Then he explained features of all the available models of TV and suggested few models on analysis of my requirements. He helped us in further narrow down the list of selected models and finally convinced us for a model of Samsung TV. The people at Vijay Sales are active but they were not smart and gave up more earlier then customer. (X-Cite Wins)

Home Delivery : Here comes an another added factor that is the facility ofHome Delivery. Chroma only delivers big products like refrigeratorsor AC but they are reluctant to deliver TV set. Opposite to it, in X-Cite people were ready to deliver not only our TV but the Food Processor also. The delivery boy not only deliver the TV at our flat but gave a demo also, he told us about the warranty plan also.(X-CiteWins)

Value Added Services: Last but not the least, X-Cite give an extended warranty of 3 year at any product on payment of some Rs. 750/- (notsure if it was a % value). No other store has any similar scheme.(X-Cite Wins)
