MS has become such a boring place, thats because of large number of boring reviews and poor quality stuffs. So being a veteran I would like to provide you some fundas
There are basically 4 type of reviewers
Effective Ineffective

As you see the above diagram there are writers who are efficient and effective like me. these members reviews are very effective they attract lot of people and the review is also written efficiently. Thus they THRIVE
Few members write good reviews, they have got the stuff in them but unable to attract hits. they are ineffective but efficient. Very sad! dont worry I will tell you the secrets of effective writing. They merely SURVIVE.
Third group are Effective they attract people but their reviews are pathetic so there is no efficieny and quality in these reviews, They DIE SLOWLY
THe last group( most of you lesser mortals fall in this category) write pathetic reviews and most dont like to read your review including your friends. You lesser mortals DIE QUICKLY.
SO HOW TO WRITE AN EFFECTIVE REVIEW?
1) See the shortcut for success is amrita and kamini. read their lovely reviews. they attract innumerable people and their content is blunt, sharp and exciting. Create Controversies. They help you in getting hits and comments. THis is a foolproof method.
2) If you are a member who wishes to write geniuene reviews then MS is not a place for you. But dont lose heart. I suggest write reviews on entertainment and reviews on best songs, clothes, foods. Trust me these reviews have great following.
After u have established yourself here start writing good reviews.
3) If you are a newcomer write a longish review, infact write any nonsense, no one gonna read unless the reader is really interested in the products.
4) Presentation is very important. Dont follow the same type of presentation. try something different. like includind diagrams or starting with a quote or ith a joke
5) Funny, yeah reviews should be funny and sometimes stupid. These kinds of revviews are instant success here in MS.
6) If you see any good review then write a counter review immediately. if some one says ganguly should not be dropped you should immediately write on ganguly is puupy shame.
7) Read reviews of Qaidi_786 theey arre really motivating! you can use them as a ready reference.
8) Dont give advice to MS members as I did now! these lesser mortals hate that. they think they are avatars spencers, shakespears, buchwalds, brownes.
9) Reply to every comment you receive. That makes the commentor happy. he feels you give respect to that lesser mortal.
10) ALL THE BEST AND WRITE HONEST REVIEWS JUSTLIKE ME.
