I am a Mouthshut member since last 10+ years(joined way back in Feb 2005). I had written 30+ reviews on Mouthshut before I got to know about this point system which gives monetary benefit to users. I had started writing reviews on Mouthshut just to share my experiences. When I started neither there were any or did I expect monetary rewards. But recently when I got to know about the contest, I thought it was a great idea!
I wrote several reviews for the contest and reached 600+ MS Points. Then I applied for transfer and after thinking a lot whether I should share scanned copy of documents for privacy and mishandling concerns, I uploaded driving license as KYC document. I got a message within 15 minutes that my KYC document was rejected. No specific reason was given for the rejection.
I felt may be it was because of the way my name was written in profile etc - so I made a few corrections and afterwards it felt that every data was consistent. So I submitted request for transfer and submitted license again(I am not inclined to send scanned copies of multiple docs like passport etc because I fear privacy concerns and fraud - hence I think one doc should be enough). Since then I did not get any feedback. I sent two messages and also sent one email asking for status and I did not get any response. I felt a bit hurt. After staying here for over 10 years and written 50+ reviews if I have to beg and wait for reimbursement of 600 points, it did not feel good. I am disappointed, that is all I can say.
