Mouth Shut is a wonderful place to write reviews on most things, people, places, books, etc. They offer a wide variety of choices that I can write about. And I love to write and inform people of products, places or things that I truly know about.
I have written about health issues, various health and beauty items, books, kitchen items, and many others. I have put a lot of detail in to each one of my reviews. I have over 100 people trusting me. That makes me feel really good. To know that people value what I think, and that they may find what I have to say helpful to them.
I have written about some things that have been very hard for me to do so. And have been criticized by one or two for doing so. All I have to say to that is this: You have no idea what a person goes through in life so don't pass judgment! It's not fair to me, to you or to the people reading the review.
I see that a lot of people on the site have given just as much hard work to their own reviews and some that have not. And these reviews are rated according to how the reader feels. And sometimes there are comments left and sometimes not.
I have seen new people write about something under this particular title, which is the wrong title and oldies of MS have left comments to inform these new writers that they have their info in the wrong place. That is good. That is what we oldies are supposed to do. Help the newies out any way we can and in a nice manner.
It is important to people to write what they feel, what they know, and about what they want to write about. We should keep it clean, detail as much as possible and leave very helpful information. And because of this importance to people to express their feelings, they do so here on Mouth Shut. We are here to help the consumer and one another. And we should do so with respect.
A person can put very little in their review and it still be very helpful to me. I would rate any review HR if I felt the need to do so. And I would rate NR if I felt the need to do so. It depends on what I got out of the review.
When you write a review, put what you feel is your heart and soul into it. Leave helpful information so that the consumer can indeed be helped. And when you leave a comment on a review, remember to put encouragement and not criticism. We are all human and we all work hard in what we do. Show some appreciation in life. You will be happier and go further.
Write good reviews. Do you research, use websites if you need to, leave information about the company of the product such as: phone, address, email, and web address. These are very important things for a consumer. They can use that information for his or her self and go and check it out. I know I certainly like to see these types of things in a review. Buying products of great value is an important decision for me to make and I appreciate all the information that you can give me.
Also when you use information from websites you should let us know that you have. If you make a quote from someone, a book, a magazine, a website, a dictionary, etc, you should inform us of that as well. In fact, it’s illegal for you not do so.
Use the bold and italic features as needed. They can really make a review look nice. Remember that presentation is half the battle of writing a good review.
If you have had a bad experience with a company I want to know that as well, but I don’t want to read bashing. That is a big turn off for me. I know we all have our problems with companies and products but we don’t have to bash in writing about it. We can do so with respect. And sometimes a company or product deserves a second chance in life. Let me know if you have done that as well.
If you are writing about a health problem try to be as informative as you can be. The more health issues that I can learn about the better off I may be during my life. Sometimes peoples personal experiences on health issues is very hard to talk about and I certainly thank you for doing so.
And certainly if you are writing about a college or a hospital I want to know what you have to say. I want to know about the grounds of the place, the staff, and the help you received, how you were treated, etc.
There are many things on Mouth Shut to write about. Just remember to be exact with your information. Remember what you like to read in a review and put those types of things in your reviews.
Life is to short not to do what you feel is best. So write a great review that will help others out. And leave a good comment for the same reason.
