While I was just about to start loving mouthshut I understood the format and modus operandi things become more and more clear. I have seen a lot of good bad and ugly here now with this contest. First of all over all these years. I never knew such contest get played out despite my major time being spent online.
I guess mouthshut have to speak aloud so more and more people realize such contests are on. Now lets talk about whats good- name fame and money if you have a knack for writing .
I was buying like crazy from amazon India and creating product reviews for every Item bought, I also managed to get into the top 100 reviewers there but never recd any monetary benefit.money is a great incentive a great motivator. and mouthshut gave me a good enough reason to write and write with nitro boosters .

The bad now - I have clearly noticed many reviews are written just for the sake of making money the same money that was acting like a motivator now churns out false reviews when the buyers may not have ever brought the stuff they talk about.
The Ugly- The very ordinary writings get the ROD.its beyond me and the very beautiful stuff remain the hidden gems, I do not understand the criterias but human ratings should not be one for sure . There is something seriously wrong here . It should not work on I scratch yr back you scratch mine equation .
There should be an elite panel to decide the ROD and should not be views or ratings dependant .stats dont always tell the truth.
Moreover when it comes to money credit issues .mouthshut should be proactive and not reactive in letting us know about it asap, so we can solve the issue promptly.
In the end I will like to make a suggestion a mere Rs 50 is not enough to lift the spirits to write with flair and hard work.mouthshut should have an after thought about it .the incentive if not monetary could be something else but should be a reason compelling enough to write .
A mere 50 INR/ review is now making my arms a little heavier, my fingers a little achy, the mind a little foggy, the eyes a little less intense and my visits to mouthshut.com a little less frequent
On a serious note.its observed out of the blue mouthshut has also stopped approving my reviews or keeping them in cold storage, not easily approving my mouth pads and keeping my money away from my bank under the excuse of wrong bank account details which were never changed, if the previous prize money made way to my account why not the subsequent ones MS?
Simply stating that we tried to push the money to your bank a/c on the 5th of May but the transaction failed on a/c of wrong bank details does not make sense to me . Something that's auto-populated and never changed by me, cant turn from right to wrong? That defies all logic?
If anything its a human or technical error from your end and than to further make me wait for 5-7 days more isn't the appropriate resolution . I will update if and when my reviews get approved or my efforts are paid monetarily, as of now about 1700 rupees still need to be paid out .

this review has been disapproved
1 of my mouth pads out of 2 has also been cleared after a long wait, I promise to edit this review as suggested by mouthshut once I see my earnings in my bank account where they rightly belong .
