It was raining offers in August 2015 and I came across one of the Woodland showrooms at Adyar, Chennai. They placed a hoarding just outside the main gate which said'Flat 40% off'+ 20% off on select shoes. This caught my attention and I could not resist going inside to check out the collection.
A pair of shoe caught my attention and I ended up buying it. I paid Rs 2495 for the shoe after discount. The obvious reason for this purchase was:
1) Attractive offer
2) The brand Woodland
3) It was not a usual heavy woodland shoe. I would say it was a semi-boot with moderate sole thickness.
4) The colour -'Dark chocolate with cream streaks looked very attractive'
After using it rigorously for around 4 months, here is my observation:
1) Very tough and well built. Have been through in rains, rugged road, beach and the shoe doesn't show a sign of giving up.
2) Goes along well with any colour jeans and casual trousers.
3) Does not require regular cleaning. The rough it gets, better it suits(my personal view)
4) You can wear it for long time without any discomfort.
This was my second purchase from Woodland and I have been satisfied every bit so far. The price is worth to pay as the durability is best when compared to other brands. I am sure Woodland will continue to please its customer by providing quality products.
