I had heard of Woodland shoes for many years and purchased 1 pair of shoes 10months ago 2013. It is IMPORTANT, that I tell you there was an up to 50% sale with Woodlands, which are being offered to the customers and I purchased it during that SALE period and paid INR 2300 for this pair of shoes.
This shoe started to loose its stitching and I gave it for repair & that is were all the problems started- They offer any service issues such as stitching, glue application etc and it can be resolved life time free.
They took my shoe and kept for good 10-12 days and put a small leather patch inside the shoe and said it was returned to me repaired. Now, my thumb on my foot is hurt, due to the unprofessional patch work that was done and I lost an pair of expensive cotton socks, which were worn with this shoe, due to the nature of the leather used during the repair.
After 15 days, the stitching has come out from other side of the shoe and again it is again GIVEN for REPAIR. This time, the staff at the shop helper said ' there is a up to 50% sale and your shoes are NOT in good condition to be repaired and it cannot be repaired" I was pushed to take another pair and I managed to ask them to send the shoe for repair to Delhi, where the shoes are repaired in small streets.
There was also another man, at the same time getting his shoe stitched, since it had torn, which simply means there are complaints regarding these shoes.
Please do not FALL for the up to 50% sale OR any purchase ONLINE, looking at the appearance - Please DO not fall prey to the look of the shoe. You can get a very strong, durable, reputed company shoe, with less design.
You choose and decide, what you want . a shoe that can last ONLY for 6 months and tearing off in embarrassment or a branded shoe such as Bata, Reebok, Nike with less design and long lasting to protect your sole.
I certify that this is my honest, personal review based on my own experience.
