*Woodland restaurant is situated opposite to gayatri bhavan restaurant in himayat nagar in heart of the city.The experince of visiting woodland is spell bounding.wood land provides a great ambience and palatable food. There are 2 sections A/c and non A/c However I wanna review on the south indian meals in the A/c section which is approximately 85Rs.
I remember lazy sunday afternoon my family and me visting woodland.As we enter into the A/c section the feeling is truly divine and we take our seats and order the south indian thali unhesitantly.We are greeted by the smartly dressed waiter and we get a hot tasty tomato soup and papad as a starter.
Later we get the plate full of curries 2 curries, samabar, rasam and puri and roti. after that we got hot steamed rice and a fried rice. Eat heartfully rasam taste is divine I have never tasted such a rasam full of taste and fried rice having a flavour of its own(to be expirenced).finally we are treated with icecream.
The restaurant has a great ambience, scrumptous food and a very relaxing place for the entire family to be together and leave for a late afternoon movie after the meals.
