We ordered from woodenstreet.com during Jul - Aug to set up our new home worth 2 Lakhs.


The biggest mistake we did was never checked on their online reviews . what we did was went to their warehouse in Bangalore to see the quality of products and spoke to the contact person in Bangalore( Naila - 8875006183) and by the look and feel of it the products and the people seemed genuine. So we placed our order.


The furniture were for our new house, we had a housewarming ceremony, when we started following up with the customer support on the status of the delivery online( it showed still in manufacturing/ Quality etc).


Customer Support:


Everytime we speak to the customer support they have different story to give, someone would say its in manufacturing/ some would say its been dispatched, some would say will be dispatched 100% this week. They will say will have a call back and will never call you back and none of this ever happens.


Mind you the most important thing to notice is there is NO CANCELLATION option on the website! You place the order and then at the mercy of the customer support and the ghost of management to respond back and the circle goes in rounds. When We called this morning to customer support requesting to raise a cancellation, through multiple holds we were told they just cannot initiate cancellation because they do not have any option of doing so from their side. they have to speak to higher management. So basically it boils down to the discretion of cofounders whether they will give back the money or not. There is no rule/process set to be adhered for this company.




  1. Zero ownership/initiative from the PoC allocated to you for your product delivery




  2. Customer support is of no use and will not be able to take any concrete answers for your query(the standard is "will give a call back" or "will check with management"




  3. Zero adherence to timelines




  4. Even writing to the cofounders( Lokendra Ranawat, Virendra Ranawat, Lokesh Baheti, Dinesh Pratap Singh) on Linkedin or facebook does not help. They do not react.






Its really sad and mad in an era of open network and strong social media still people cheat so openly online.


So please spread the word and save yourself the trouble. There is a reason why the products are so cheap here and why it's worth paying a premium and buying from urban ladder/pepperfry of the world.


At the end of the day you don't have your product, no guarantee on your money back and no indemnity of your purchase.


Please spread the word and DO NOT GET INTO THIS TRAP!

1) Concerning your statement of placing an order and mentioning Ms.Naila in the case indeed doesn't seem relevant as she was not the salesperson who took your order somewhat only a representative with whom you interacted at Bangalore Store during your visit. As well the same goes for the management it is tough for them to respond to individual customers for which a company has set employees at a different level to manage work.
2) We checked our system and also saw your products were delivered and post which specific carpentry work request is under process.
