I am extremely disappointed with the service by Wooden Street. Here are the issues I have faced:


1.While ordering the cot, I was told that this particular model that I have ordered was already in stock and that it would reach me in 15 days. I placed my order on 28 May. Today is August 4 and I still don't know what the status of my order is.


2.When placing the order, I had used one credit card. When the transaction did not go through, I used another credit card. I had brought this to the notice of the executives. I was charged on both credit cards and this issue was not rectified till I brought to their notice.


3.I have written several times to their email. I have chatted several times with their executives. All I get is false promises about the delivery, especially the chat. Every one of the chat executives says that they will provide a status in a few hours. Till date, I have NEVER received an update.


4.I requested for a refund because the policy on the website states that if the delivery time were to cross 7 weeks you will initiate a refund. Till date I haven't heard from anyone about this.


5.I have repeatedly called the call center number since yesterday. No one has picked my call or called back till now.


6.Your website is so pathetic that whenever I log in it shows a transaction from someone else.


This is by far the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. If the refund is not initiated immediately I will be initiating legal action in the consumer.


Update as of 29 Aug:


I would like to understand what kind of company you people run. First, I place the order and I get charged twice. After two months of following up, I receive a refund of one payment. Then I haggle with execs on mail, chat, phone relentlessly for 3 months for the delivery of the product that was promised to be delivered in 15 days. After all this drama, when the delivery finally happens, the product is in such a bad state that I had to return it. The return took so much of an effort I cant tell you. This was atleast 15 days ago. After a lot of chats, mails, and calls again, I receive a mail saying that the refund has been initiated. As you can see in the mail above, that was 11 days ago. In today's age of NEFT transfers that happens in minutes I fail to understand why it would take so long for a return. You can be rest assured that I will be giving the worst of reviews on all social media sites and to friends and family. When they came up with the phrase "must be avoided like plague", they must have thought of you. Today when I called them they took 45 minutes to transfer the call and when I could speak to someone, I was told that it would take 1 more week for the refund. Please avoid Wooden Street at all costs!


Update as of 3 September:


I have not received a refund for the product that was returned more than 20 days ago. Every other day there is a call saying that they have initiated the payment, and then saying that the transaction has failed because of various reasons, the last one being that it was Bakrid yesterday. One exec even called to tell me than because I had written a negative review, they had stopped the refund. I am going to wait for one last day before raising a cyber crime complaint against Wooden Street. They have even disable me from providing feedback on Facebook an have removed the feedback that I had provided when I had the permissions. I am going to raise a cyber crime complaint tomorrow, if the refund does not reach me in time.
