I have seen a few of Joey King's movie and this movie by far is the best performance of her career. But due to weak story and bad setup, the performance drowned into a childish meaningless movie which actually has some really horror filled scenes backed by some good sounds but lacks any good music.
This movie feels to have a touch of movies like "Final Destination" franchise due to all the killing scenes and " Jumanji" because as the movie progresses, it gets crazier and crazier.
The movie totally feels like fantasy horror, which takes away the joy of watching it. Although Cinematography was good and brought by Annabelle Director and promises good sound effect, strong language, violence and disturbing imagery, it failed to touch the cynical side of our fear.
Also it is not recommended for age groups other than teens as the matters setout can be related to only teens.
Overall: it is a movie to enjoy with teen friends but very boring for us working class.
