Wise only. Review on Wise and Otherwise - Sudha Murthy

Wise and Otherwise is the master peice .The value of the book can't be quantified.Sudha Murthy has vividly narrated true incidents in her walk of life.It also explains the behaviour of the people from all sections of the society.Every body should read the book.I have presented this book to my children.In my house all the family memebers have read the book and appreciated her efforts to impart the ethical values in the life.In this materialistic world she did her beat to emphasis the importance of the values , our rich culture and heritage.All the incidents narrated in her book might have come across in everybodies life.But we may not able to tell our children to learn from it.All the characters touched the heart.Some people say that the has no literal values.If any book with high literal value does not contribute towards society,what is its value?

when I read the incident that a village elder waited for Sudha Murthy to present a flower for her contribution in building a hospital after the completion of the function where she has been relegated to back seat,tears rolled down .It is touching moment.

I plead the GOI to make this book compulsory in high school level so that all the student will read the book.
