I had a dream after completing my graduation to work in Wipro.I work hard and achieve my destiny after passing 5 years in small companies.


Pain started with long waiting of offer letter/appointment letter, after long email/phone communication able to join the company, surprised to see in induction there was no standardization of designation and salary among same skill and same experience.


Every policies aims profiting towards Wipro, least worried about employee sentiments.....surprised? Let me pointed out the policies got changed in last 4 years harming employee work condition




  1. In 2006 salary got credited in last week of month, later got shifted towards last day of month followed by 1 of




next month, and if there will be holiday on 1'st of next month, salary should credited on last day of month.


In 2009 there was two successive holiday on 1st, policy got changed immediately in second month by deferring it to 2 of next month in case of holiday on 1st.




  1. Earlier variable pay not dependent on your bill ability, so if a guy needs to wait on bench to get another project his compensation not disturbed, later policy changed and if employee not billable more than 7 days




his variable will be truncated to half.


Whether it's only employee's duty to find new project?




  1. Earlier variable pay varies according to company growth, it got continued during recession period, needless to pay we always end up with lesser variable pay.




Policy changed immediately after recession over and variable pay restricted to 100% in case company profits more, but ...repeating ..


But .. if company not performing well then employee need to suffer by having cut in variable pay.




  1. During the recession, they imposed 9.5 hours/day restriction, they even sack the people based on this silly fact.




Attrition rate increased significantly after this implication.




  1. In my tenure I didn't get any money other than salary....even when you travel onsite there will be no compensation towards the shopping.Getting laptop is a very difficult task for onsite travel.




I almost ends 2-3 days effort to get office laptop during my onsite travel, but no luck....purchased personal one in first week.


List not ends up here .... but let's discontinue here else I will end up in bad mood on Sunday evening. :-)


Sincere advice : If you need personal mental harmony, don't join WIPRO.
