First of all, let me make it clear that I am rating this service 1 star because it is not possible to rate it as zero! Two experiences in last few months and both marked by worst possible management. I am wondering how are the customers, whoever take this service, able to keep cool with the kind of quality (rather the lack of it) provided by wings radio cabs.
On first occasion, we had booked the cab for one of the prominent and important occasions we had arranged. The cab simply failed to turn up. On calling up, the phone number of the driver was intimated. WHen I called the driver and expressed my displeasure, he was enquiring first where to come. When I told him he must at least know where he has to show up and come in time, he responded "ud ke aoonga kya?" (am I expected to fly and reach?).
After all the heated exchange, eventually the driver never showed up. Needless to state, there was no call of courtesy or apology from the management (can we use this term here?) of wings radio cab. Second ocassion was very recent when I had called wings cab to pick up a visitor from Pune station at 4:45 am. Driver reached the station at 5:15 am. When asked, he suggested that he received the text message on his cell phone at 5:05 am. He even showed this text message on his cell phone. Call center executives (that, I think is too polite a term for those creatures who work for wings cabs) were rude and disconnected the phone twice when we complained and expressed our grievance.
To add insult to the injury, when we asked the phone number of some manager to whom we could escalate the issue, the call center executive deliberately provided an incorrect phone number which could never be reached as it didn't exist!
My recommendation is- Never rely on wings cabs. They are flying on high horses of arrogance and it should be a matter of time before they meet their probable end. Their call center executives are not the best educated and not the most sophisticated people (now I am being polite here with my toned down vocabulary when I frame my sentence this way).
Managers there aren't worth wasting a word on. Overall, a learning experience that these people must never be communicated with.
