Microsoft Windows XP is the best OS I have experienced so far. Windows XP is not only faster and reliable than other OS, but it is also the most stable to date.
Windows XP is very user-friendly and easy to install and use. There are enhanced security and networking features available in Windows XP. Windows XP also has advanced versions of Windows Media Player and Windows Movie Maker that enhances the media experiences of the user.
Last year, Microsoft released Windows XP Service Pack 2, which is an update of Windows XP. Windows XP SP 2 incorporates all the advanced security technologies and features that protects the computer and its data from potential dangers such as Viruses and hackers.
#Windows Firewall acts as a barrier to online viruses, worms and hackers.
#Windows XP SP 2 also has advanced features for Internet.
#Internet Explorer includes Pop-Up blocker which helps in blocking annoying pop-up ads.
#Information Bar helps in informing the user about the potentially harmful Active X controls that are
present in a website that can damage the data in the computer.
Internet Explorer SP 2 also helps in blocking potentially harmful cookies that can damage data.
However, inspite of so many advanced and helpful features available in Windows XP, there is one major disadvantage of this OS. Windows XP leads to slow booting of the computer. It takes a longer time than other OS to boot on the computer.
