I had placed an order from my husband’s account on the William Penn website on 14 December 2017 which was meant as a gift for my father whose birthday was on 21 December. He received the product only on 4 January 2018, ie after three weeks since placing the order and long after the intended date which was his birthday. The parcel had been lying at the local FedEx facility for 6 days and they were unable to deliver it because not only was William Penn staff careless enough to print my husband’s name on the parcel instead of my father’s but also because most of his address including the name of the building and street were missing. I have written multiple emails to William Penn voicing my dissatisfaction at the bitter experience but received no remedy whatsoever. I’m most certainly going to refrain from making any future purchases from their website, especially when it is a gift.
