Shakespeare was an actor as well as a playwright. he has written several plays and he is famous as a playwright. he was also a poet who has written 154 beautiful sonnets. his concept of sonnet is very different from a typical petrarchan sonnet. if we see his dramas we will be surprised to know that he has written 37 plays and almost all of them are super-hit. he was born in 1564 and he was the third child of his parents. he was creative from his childhood. he has no more formal degrees but he was sharp in intellect. his plays like As You Like It, Othello, Hamlet, The Tempest, and many others are prescribed in several Universities. During Elizabethan period he was the leading playwright. I have read several of his plays and sonnets and I have found that his language is very rich and good. as a poet his poems are the best and real.
