I had booked the new 2014 city through Whitefield Honda. I must say the entire buying experience was a nightmare. Firstly at the time of booking they promised delivery by mid Feb(this was before the car was launched). After launch.they came up with a delivery date of April end which would have made it a 5 month wait period considering that I had booked in Nov'13.
After some escalations they made an allotment for me and promised me the car by 2nd week of Feb. Even for this I had to keep following up with them.on if the car had arrived in its yard. Then at the time of registration.they lost my Form 20 and I lost 3 days as the registration could not be done.
I even missed out a particular series that was running during registration because of their careless attitude. Insurance details were not explained to me and I finally learnt I was getting a better insurance quote from the Insurance company directly. The Honda Assure stuff is pure nonsense and is only a way for the dealerships to milk you.
No one from the dealership nor Honda took the misplacement of the Form 20 seriously. This form contains the owner's personal details as well as the vehicle details. To me it appears that some staff at Whitefield Honda is indulging in data theft. After some escalations, my form20 mysteriously appears in a weeks time.
The staff is poorly trained and the management only there to warm up their seats. I wouldn't buy a Honda vehicle from them ever again.
