I have had a very bad experience with whitefield Honda. I had booked a jazz and they quoted delivery time of about 20-30 days. There was never a follow up and I only had to call everytime asking what is the status etc.
After about a month, they said they had a vehicle of my colour choice. I wanted to do a Pre- registration inspection at the stockyard to which they agreed reluctantly after some bit of argument. The sale guy kept delaying the PRI. Finally, we fixed on a date & went to the showroom. Earlier he had said we ll go to the stockyard and check the car. After going to showroom, he indicated one of the vehicle on display and said this is your car, he brought from stockyard and washed etc.
This was a total shock. I know that car had been there in showroom on display for last 2 months. I asked him to give me VIN# and form 22 which will tell the manufacturing month/delivery date etc. As it turned out the sales person had never placed an order for me and was trying to pass of the display vehicle to me and had been making all sorts of stories over the last 1 month to cover up this.
On top of it, no one at the dealership had the courtesy to accept that their lie was already exposed and that they were willing to procure a new vehicle for me and deliver it as soon as possible, Their sales manager/customer relations officer even tried to argue that this was okay, how was I sure that this was a display vehicle and that you can cancel the booking if you want etc!
In all, a very unprofessional, unethical behaviour from whitefield honda.
