If anyone were to ask me whether I would ever visit this hotel a second time, I would reply why just a second.why not a third and a fourth.
Yes.the place is good. For someone who hails from Kerala and is used to the coco-natural beaches, my first trip to Goa was made all the more special by this resort.
The location of the resort has its own benefits and drawbacks as does the various other facets. Shall try and summarize them individually
*Plus points -
*1. Hotel is located in a very serene location and is extremely peaceful [except for the crows in the morning]
Rooms are well maintained including the closets and bathroom and furniture. It was quite clean and properly stocked [except the refridgerator]
Food is excellent and well prepared with plenty of choices. We had a buffet on each meal and there was a carnival night when the choices were simply mouth watering
Staff are extremely courteous and helpful
The beach is a mere two minutes away and there are plenty of shacks to help you chill
Entertainment while not that great was still enjoyable
All amenities and facilities as promised in the brochure were made available without exception
*Minus points -
*1. They do not understand the purpose of your stay. We were on our honeymoon and despite that were given two single beds.
Reception staff need more training on communicating with customers. There were certain examples who could barely speak properly with us and were frightfully on the verge of sign language with the foreigners
The beach outside is of rough sand and you will need to walk north up the beach for some cleaner sand. Also a huge oil tanker beached just at this point was an eyesore.
The cruise arranged as part of the sightseeing tour on the boat Swastik was a real let-down for couples coz of the rowdy and drunk crowd and the skimpily dressed dancers
