I enjoyed reading the Novoneel book since it left me feeling amazed by the narrative. This one is equally captivating. Novoneel is a master at crafting mysterious stories. He has yet again demonstrated why he is among's finest thriller authors.
This book will show you how the consequences of just one lie can affect your life in a detrimental way.
The central character of the book is an IAS aspirant named Ekantika Pakrashi, who seems to lead a typical life while living in Delhi with her lover. However, all changes one night when her lover is murdered in cold blood in the style of the notorious serial killer from the 1990s identified as the "Cello Tape Killer," who had never been found.
Ekantika sets off on a mission to track down the murderer and bring him to punishment, but she quickly learns that she could be be the killer's real target. As the narrative progresses, the reader learns more about the inner turmoil Ekantika is struggling with and her true motivation for trying to track down the murderer.
Is Ekantika actually under attack? After 21 years, has the murderer of cello tapes resurfaced? Why, if so? Is this a fresh copycat murderer? Will she identify the true murderer? Everything is an intriguing mystery!
The final identification of the killer is unexpected, and the way the plot progresses is guaranteed to give you a few chills. A really gripping work that raises the bar for Indian crime thriller literature. You'll have a compelling narrative with a mind-blowing conclusion, I promise.
The plot has many unexpected turns, and each chapter ends on a cliffhanger. The "my own desire" to find the murderer kept me up all night.
I wholeheartedly recommend this if you enjoy reading crime thrillers or are searching for an excellent thriller book. Try it out.
