Whirlpool White Magic 123 650h - It was the best top load Whirlpool automatic washing machine with hot wash in the E-Zone in year 2010. Experience has not been so good.
Even after regularly spending on cleaning up:
Year 3 - Electronic pad short-circuit happened. Spent 1200 on repairs Bought a VM500 stabilizer to avoid future short circuits - 2450 bucks
Year 3 - Automatic water regulator failed - 800 bucks
Year 4 - Spinner failed - Changed the gear box - 4300 bucks.
In last 4+ years I have spent 8750 bucks apart from regular expenses on de-scaling powder. This is more than 50% of initial cost of washing machine. And washing machine is used lightly with a 3 member family. Not the best in the market, at least not the top load washing machines of Whirlpool.
