Size:-Its a very compact machine with a dimension of about a shoe box.Weighs around 5 kgs & looks great on invertor shelf.Dosent occupy that much space as compared to an analog invertor .
Functions:-It performs all the functions upto the mark and shows indication of full battery as well as low/charging battery.Always its online & when light goes off it starts within a sec.No lag at all.600VA is the power capacity and one can run 2 fans/3 tubelights for a period of 6-8 hours non stop if the battery is fully charged up.
Warranty:- It is covered for atleast 2 years under the warranty for any kind of defect in manufacturing.
Avalibility:-All authorised whirlpool dealers across the country sell invertors.Care should be taken to purchase invertor specific batteries as these are specifically built for the same.
User experience till date:- Purchase was made in june 2009 & till date it is working without any kind of trouble.Not even once it has tripped.
Special care:- Inverotrs dissipate a lot of heat into the enviroment and care has to be taken that the place where it is kept is well ventilated.Regular cleaning with a soft cloth is required to avoid settling down of the dust over the invertor body & insulation should be done so as to avoid static electricity to be build up in the dust.
Verdict:- Although you may find all kind of advertisments in media of MICROTEK/LUMINOUS.But I hadnt seen an advertisment of whirlpool invertors in media/newspaper till date .Because they know what kinda of product they have to challenge the big players.I would strongly recommend this home appliance to all my readers who are yet to feel the real challenge of indian summers.
