After reading the previous reviews, I was thinking not to go for whirlpool and particularly sensation elite model. But a careful study and comparison by me revealed the following:
At the price, features you get from this m/c is really good.
Something that can come closest is Samsung and LG. LG is costlier by atleast 5000/-.
No. of wash programs by combination available is 100 in whirlpool. It has everything the other two brands have.
It allows you to load clothes within the 15 mins of start. (good one, if you end up finding some clothes after you start the process).
Very very user friendly menu options.
Overall, we are very much satisfied with the product.
Another good thing in service viewpoint:
Dealer in chennai actively followed up to ensure demo/installation on the next day.(sunday)
There was another team of service engineers who were following up to persuade for an extended warranty available for the entire machine.
These two were really great experience in contrast to the reviews I found here.
Finally,
- If you want to buy an automatic washing m/c, choose one of the prominent brands. Brands like
samsung, LG, whirlpool have good presence in india and their products come after certification
at a local plant. So, no worries on quality front.
See ease of use and convenient features like delay wash, re-load clothes, consumption of water / kg of clothes. I could see whirlpool model slightly having an edge over LG and samsung on this account.
If you are a family of four with kids, have a washing m/c with around 6 to 6.5 kg capacity. Very much useful when you want to wash lot of small clothes, bed sheets, etc together.
We are very much satisfied with the product, ease of use and soap/water consumption. (Electricity units consumed could not be ascertained as yet to receive the bills ;-))
I would recommend this product. Those in chennai, want to buy, go straight to Shah & Co. Dont think other retailers, you will get the best deal here. No doubt.
