This product is great. I have been using Whirlpool products in my home for the last 15 years and hardly I've had any problems with them.
However, after my recent Whirlpool experience, I have decided to stay away from all Whirlpool products. The reason is not their products, but their pushy and malicious support engineers.
Right from the installation of the products; these support people use various scare tactics to forcefully make you purchase accessories which were never disclosed at the time of selling the product.
For example; if you buy a refrigerator, they will constantly nag you to take a stand, which is overpriced; take a stabilizer, even though the refrigerator itself says'Stabilizer Free Operation' etc. With Washing Machines, they claim(without any sort of testing) that the quality of water is very poor and it would hamper the warranty and thus we need to take WHIRLPOOL branded detergents, fabric softeners and some other accessories, ramping up another 3-4K of additional cost.
I understand that these support engineers earn off of commissions and these sales of accessories go directly to their pockets but there is a limit to being annoying. These people will keep pestering you till you shell out more money to buy these accessories.
Overall, great products but terribly shady and pushy service engineers.
Only go with Whirlpool if you know how to dodge these shady service people. If you want a hassle free experience, like me, then select another brand.
