I'm using whatsapp since last 4 years and Saw Many changes in every update but their competitor Provide better features too.lets take a overlook of them.
Features:
1.Instant Messaging:take 1 micro sec. to get delivered
2.Group Chat: Group Chat with Strength upto 256 member which is nearly half as that of counter messaging app hike[500 members].
3.Security: Whatsapp can't be logged in from multiple devices at an instant, so one-to-one message makes your account secure.
4.Whatsapp Web: Using web.whatsapp.com You can also use whatsapp on PC, Only thing needed is Your Phone & PC both have an active internet connection.
5.File Sharing: Files like Video, Audio, Images, contact and Locations can be shared using whatsapp but its counter part i.e, hike provide sharing of APKs, PDFS, Docx like files too, which is not supported by whatsapp.
6.Calling: Whatsapp comes 1st with this features to call your friend using Internet but here also WECHAT takes the lead which provide Walkie-talkie feature at very low bandwidth.
From the day Facebook Overtakes Whatsapp, Whatsapp changed alot and it also stop charging a penny from its user.Whatsapp is best instant messaging but also need to provide services like large group, sharing of any file like APK, Large Videos and PDF format file and also Video Calling
