*Well I have watched this movie yesterday as I had nothing else to do. I am a hindi movie buff and
watched thousands of them since I came into this world.
Since yesterday when I came out of the hall, I am trying to figure out how was the movie,
whether I liked it or not and I have not yet figured it out.
To start with this is the movie which belongs totally to Priyanka Chopda. 12 priyankas in one
movie what else can we ask for. her screen presence is captivating and keeps you refreshed
througout the 3 and half hrs. I cant blame Herman Baweja, he seemed so awed by the beauty
of priyanka that he forgot to act or may be by the time his jet lag got over, the movie was
finished.
Being a hindi movie buff as soon as the movie started, my mind started to make up on its own whats going to happen next . at the end nothing so happened, neither harman nor I could figure out that he loved whom out of 12 and finally he got married to sanjana the second girl in line.
I think I should share what s your rashee from my eyes what I felt should happened in the movie and what we missed.
Harman comes back from Chicago after receiving a message about his dads heartattack. His family for astrological reasons wants him to get married to a rich girl within 10 days to save his family from debts of his elder brother, and also so that he gets his grand fathers property according to the will.
Harman decides to meet 12 girls of different rashis to found his perfect one.
The first girl he meets is Sanjana( I changed to sanjana from anjali for the sake of my story) who also likes him. they go for a drive, he gets a guitar at the back seat and sings a song for him, lovely live duet. and when she requests after the song is complete that she loves some one else and he should reject her, he simply and graciously rejects her. t
hen he mets anjali, visakha, chandrika, puja, kajal ohh I forget the rest and all are altars of priyanka . har ek mein use priyanka najar aati he, he gets confused at the end, whom should he select,
just the night before wedding, he sits with his uncle and discusses about whom should he marry out of 12, sanjana loves someone, chandrika looking for purna janam ka pyar, kajal wants to wait for 1 year, puja wants to stay in india. vishaka is mad, and ms parmar is too bossy and contractual,
he is totally confused. his uncle starts his projector again, ya he has a projector and does marriage making in a very professional and modern way,
the first still is of Sanjana, the beautiful georgeus priyanka he met first,
now the screen starts to change . HERE COMES MOTHER OF ALL TWISTS.
I WISH HERMAN CAN MANAGE SOME SHOCKING EXPRESSIONS ON HIS FACE AND EXCLAIM.
second one is anjali, total twist herman could not recognise her, he to met priyanka in anjali's altar . she is some one else.
3rd 4th 5th 6th, and till the end he is shocked, he could not believe what he sees, he shouts exclaims ye nahi ho sakta. he could not recognise any of them he met in last 5 days, use yaad hi nahi wo in ladkiyo se kab mila, usne to har ladki mein sanjana ko dekha tha .he has seen only sanjana in different altars, he cries he laughs, I wish he could do justice to this scene, this is the climax man,
he tells his uncle, mujhe sanjana ke paas jana hoga,
uncle says beta meri gaadi le ja, usma anila kamdar ke ghar ki chabhiya bhi nahi he aaj, teri aunty ko sab pata chal gaya he.
he drives to sanjana's home, guitar at the back seat, same song he plays again, atleast I can tolerate this song again, eliminating any of the useless tracks in between excepting su che . that was real gud music and tune.
he reaches sanjana s home, his mama ji tells beta hurry, she is going back to I forget where was she from, some african country .
he drives fast to airport, she has already boarded the plane,
bhai and his goon who has lended money to his brother, stop him in the way, he tells him paisa chahiye to plane ko rukwana hoga, cos jisse shaadi ho rehi he wo to africa ja rehi he, no shaadi no paisa, kaat do ungli,
HARMAN HAS TO BE EMOTIONAL IN THIS SCHENE, he needs to snatch the supari cutter which the bhai alwas carry and act to cut his finger, saying, ya to ye ungli kategi ya sanjana isme anghuthi pehnayegi.
bhai calls airport and give a false threat of bomb,
he reaces . sings the final para of the song and she comes out,
all well that ends wellll.
