Story:

After gathering a huge fan following from the youth by writing on populist topics like love, college-life and sex Chetan Bhagat has embarked on the same old beaten path, namely the path of the so-called intellectuals.  He has posed as a pragmatic messiah and given doctrines on how the state should be run.And to do this he  has chosen an anthology of articles that he had written for various newspapers. He has posed himself as a pragmatic messiah and delivered his doctrines on each and every topic he could think of.

If I have to talk about the positives of this book, crisp language and practical examples was what made this book worth a read. He has explained to the people of this country and the youth what are the burning issues and concerns of 21st century India and to do this he has used stories that each and every individual can relate to.

Some of his ideas regarding FDI in retail, Anna hazare etc were also very practical .

However on the other hand Chetan Bhagat tried his best resort to worshiping cultures and traditions which were very alien to India. Some of his ideas sounded revolutionary when read from a plane sheet of paper however whether they could actually be implemented on ground is another question.

As far as the price of this book goes its rather cheap .You can get it at around 100 bucks from

amazon or flipkart maybe. Its also not very heavy material one can skim through this in around

an 3 hours at maximum. However really understanding all that has been written would require

a lit bit of further contemplation.

I add this paragraph in my reviews when I want people to read the book that I am reviewing.  I truly want people to look at  the way author has talked about all the difficult issues of India. He tried out to convince people to change their way of thinking and living in this country which is filled with negativity. He wanted people to change the country and not wait for someone demi-god to change it for them. And he certainly did not resort to the popular cliche of blaming the netas for anything and everything that is wrong in this country. Though there are a lot of facts that Chetan Bhagat has stated that might differ with there is a certain ring of truth that you have to agree on. The solutions laid to the problems might have been shortsighted to

some extent but none can disagree that questions raised were well and truly correct.

Consider the questions, read the solutions but don't stop there.Contemplate further!
