Well I'll be danged something different to write about. Why are burgers different? If you've had one you've had them all right? Wrong!
We have only one Wendys' in the area and first of all the burgers are square instead of round. Do they taste different? Yes but not because of the shape. They are freshly cooked and done on an open flame so they are much less greasy. I really have to be careful with grease and I can say I have never gotten sick from their burgers.
Also a regular burger is still bigger than any other regular size one at those other places. I always special order my burgers the way I want them and the order has always been correct.
I love their baked potatoes so usually get a small burger and a potato with sour cream and butter. You can also get one with brocolli and cheese which is also good.
The chili is really tasty and the salads are great too. They used to have a salad bar where you fix your own but now just have the made up salads.
They have a smoothie which is like a shake but so thick you need a spoon to eat it with so I use this as dessert.
Wendys' is a bit higher priced than the other burger chains but well worth it.
Here the help are really good with the orders and things. However they do not clean off tables very often but it is right across from a high school and the place is mobbed at lunch time so this is understandable.
It would be my first choice if it wasn't out of the way but I do go there occasionally the rest of the time you will find me at Burger King.
