A letter writer, a must in our villages tickles the funny bone in the movie. The story unfolds with a man disoriented by life and competition, finding solace in writing letters for others. Although, it does not give him enough for his livelihood, it does satisfy his passion to write.
Shreyas Talpade again embarks the role and makes the audience believe that he was one of the villagers. Ill-literate people in the village are most happy to get a man who could pen their thoughts and feeling. One of the best being, when the snake charmer arrives for sending a letter to find his lost father.
We don’t need no sci-fi, we don’t need no wars, we, the audience need clean en training movie that can either help us in relieving our pressure or makes us believe that reality can be enjoyed as well.
Divya Dutta as usual justifies the character. She is a good actress and lives her character really well. The elections and munni bai winning takes us inroad into the political scenario in a village. A complete story line, well directed movie and each character were well defined and was executed to the fullest.
