Hi Friends, I was dying to see this movie when it had released but somehow didn’t get the chance to see it and yesterday, I got the chance to view this wonderful movie on colors channel and wow, what a movie it turned out to be for me to witness ever in current times. It’s one of the best movies I have seen for a long time. In a dearth of meaningful cinema, to watch this one was a fantastic experience altogether. No songs, No unrealistic matter, no crap and a no nonsense movie depicting the naked reality of our times.

The plot revolves mainly around the current grave problem that our country is facing in the form of terrorism. The story is about the lives of the common People of India who are under a constant fear of losing their lives to the continuing terrorist’s attacks in our country.

One fine Wednesday afternoon, The commissioner of police Prakash Rathore (Anupam Kher) gets a call on his mobile from an unknown person (Naseeruddin shah) who informs him that he has planted five bombs in Mumbai at different places and demands the release of four dreaded terrorists who are held captive by the Mumbai Police for their involvement in the Mumbai blasts of 92,Riots of 2002 in Gujarat and the train blasts of 2006 in Mumbai and if his demand of releasing them is not met with then the blasts will occur on the same day in the evening enough to create panic and havoc.

What follows is a thrilling, spine chilling and a gripping tale that will leave you biting your nails in sheer excitement. The whole movie from the start to the finish is a climax in itself till you reach the end. It is ably supported by power packed performances, good screenplay and some superb direction by Neeraj Pandey.Never ever in the entire movie do you feel that the actors are acting in it. It seems so real that you feel it’s actually happening. Not a single moment is boring and the tempo is fast paced like a bullet shot from a gun.

One of the two main protagonists is Anupam kher who plays his role of a commissioner with great ease, grace and sheer excellence. This fine actor has given us some memorable performances in the past in movies like saaransh, karma etc and add to it this performance of his which is outstanding.

The other main protagonist is Naseeruddin Shah who has a knack of enacting some powerful strong characters and he has done the same in this movie very aptly and with great confidence and persona. The last twenty minutes of this film is carried away on the shoulders of this highly talented actor who delivers some power packed dialogues and great acting. He also in the past has given us some memorable performances in movies like Arth,Jaane bhi do yaaron and sir to name a few. It”s a treat to watch both this wonderful actors performing together on the screen to create a class movie like this.

The other character worth a mention is of inspector Arif played by Jimmy Shergill. He has done full justice to his role and has given a natural and a power packed performance.

I would not reveal the main climax and the end of this movie for the sake of my friends who have still not witnessed this wonderful movie which even had the CM of Gujarat Mr.Narendra Modi stand on his feet and applaud it.

Unarguably, this fast paced thriller is worth a watch .I bet you won’t be able to bat your eye-lid for a moment and it will leave you spellbound in the end. Hats off to Neeraj Pandey for coming up with such an excellent movie which gives a clear message to our governing bodies that “We are resilient by force and not by choice”
