Wedding Pulav is a romantic drama directed by Binod Pradhan taking some fresh newcomers. I was excited about the movie becasuse the music was seemed great.
But my experience was completely differnt.
Story starts with Aditya Sodhi played by Diganth Manchale is a bike designer and his engagement is set with Riya played by Sonalli Seygall who is the daughter of his boss played by Parmeet Sethi. On his engagement night he is waiting for his best friend Anuska played by Anuska Ranjan who enters with fancy style from london.
Anuska loves Jay played by Karan Grover who is a painter in London.
Anuska and Aditya has a gang of friends including 3 others who suggest Anuska to call Jay and marry him with the wedding of Aditya & Riya. So Jay comes to India for marriage and they all go to Thailand for the wedding function.
This is where the whole story happens upto the end.
The perfomances by the lead actors seems not interesting but supporting cast is good.
Satish Kaushik as Aditya's father has some good comedy scenes. But the script is so poor that it all seem like a hindi seriel. There is Rishi Kapoor in the movie who's talent is I think completely neglected and he has nothing in his character to offer.
The direction is not that good because of the poor script.
Music of the movie is by Salim Sulaiman who have done a great job. The song "O Jaaniya" is fantastic and others are also very good.
I was very disappointed by the movie and felt like watch a hindi daily soup.
