Yes You read it right, Watch it for Amitabh bachhan and Farhan Akhtar's performance.
Wazir is a story of two fathers and chess players as well who lost their child and one wants revenge of it.
Farhan Akhtar is a polic officer who lost his daughter in one encounter(accidental encounter). Amitabh plays a role of a chess teacher who also lost his daughter and wants revenge for the same.
Story has many loose ends but the performances from Amitabh and Farhan Akhtar is just awesome. Specially Amitabh bacchan's performance. How a man at his age can deliver such a performance. Salute to him. Farhan did a god job with his role as well.
Story was written by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, now I have been following vidu vinod chopra's work since from Jaane bhi do yaaro. He used to deliver such a good movies but don't know this one is not up to his standard when it comes to the story.
Music and songs are just awesome too. You will surely buy soundtracks or CD for Wazir once you listen to songs. Compositions and Music will surely keep you fresh through out the movie. John Abraham and Neil Nitin Mukesh's performance are average. Though John is in special appearance. This one is a mystery movie and it will not be fair to reveal the story here so I will skip those details. While watching movie you will surely keep guessing what could be wrong with the entire situation. But I must say your all predictions will fall incorrect in last 5 minutes of the movie. Watch it till the end to understand the entire story.
For me the best part in the movie was Music. I liked all the songs. Songs are too good. Specially the song "Tere Bin". It is sung by none other than our beloved Sonu nigam. I must say whenever he sings he puts his heart in to it. This song is just awesome. Even Ankit tiwari has done such a good job with the song Tu mere paas.
Aditi Rao Hydari looks very beautiful in the movie. I must say she is very pretty. I wish this movie should have been directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra himself.
Watch this movie in theatre just for the awesome performances by Amitab and Farhan and also for lovely songs. It is a nice one time watch for this weekend. Wazir. I am sure all fans of Chess game will surely love this movie.
