The surface vim and force on show in Wazir is extensive, yet Bollywood's first enormous arrival of 2016 is disappointingly low on substance.

True to life stories of folks grieving the passing of a youthful kid constitute a viable type that has been very much misused by movie producers throughout the years, and Wazir has two such fathers thinking about the double weight of despondency and blame.

However, that vital account string is subsumed by the overall topic of requital. In the deal, the film loses the passionate pull that may have lifted it over the middle.

In spite of tasteful cinematography(DOP: Sanu John Varughese), a couple of snippets of immaculate motivation created by the lead on-screen characters and some successful punchlines(dialog: Abhijit Deshpande and Gazal Dhaliwal), Wazir comes no place close checkmating the crowd.

Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar, cooperating on the screen for the first run through, in coupled, are similar to a house ablaze. Yet, the twosome's hard and fast endeavors to add shimmer to the film's harsh edges aren't sufficient to turn the sketchy diversion around.
