It was a perfect setting for a day out at Water Kingdom. The intense summer heat
and the thought of staying in the waters was ideal. Situated just next to Esselworld, you can reach there either by road from Bhayander or by train and ferry via Borivli. After much deliberation, we decided to take our car since the thought of returning by train after a hectic day was very tiring. It took
us 2 hours from town. You do not need to carry any food. Camera is best avoided since it is difficult to handle in water. Lockers are provided for keeping your
clothes and other valuables.
The water is very clean and well maintained. Security is well taken care of. There are slides for adults as well as children. There are many food joints including Taipan for Chinese and Kailash
Parbat for snacks. It is advisable to reach the place between 10-11am. Start off with the slides and other
bumpy rides. After a light lunch at 2, you could try the wave pool and lazy
river.
All in all a day well spent. A trifle expensive but considering that things are well looked after, its worth spending that much. A
must for children over the age of 4.
