Just ordered Casio 1300D 1AV at watchkart.com with order number 1400009558.
The website mentions MRP of Rs.3495/- and offers 10 percent discount (Rs.3145/-)
I went to Casio showroom to check how the watch would be (MTP 1300D-1AV-A483)
The watch is smaller in size and lesser in weight compared to MTP 1300D-1AV put up on Casio.com and showroom MRP of only Rs.2995/-.
The information put up on watchkart is misleading about the product (Picture, MRP, Dimensions, Specifications & weight).
- I called up support centre and I was shocked to hear from them that their business strategy is to hike prices & offer discount ! They are also saying MRP is their property and not that of CASIO.
The person also said CASIO has no rights on MRP and that MRP is watchkart's property, he said watchkart can hike MRP as per their wish!!
- I requested them to cancel the order, they are saying it has been dispatched and they told me to refuse delivery.
Suggestion: Wait for CASIO sale and buy at 10 or 20 per cent discount rather than buying from watchkart which is charging more money than showroom/ CASIO MRP.
I hope Casio is watching such cheating e-commerce companies, who will dent CASIO's image as well. CASIO should punish watchkart for selling items above MRP.
