We had a home loan with Washington Mutual. We were never late. We received a letter that they had sold our loan less than one day before our loan payment was due. The new loan owner had not entered our loan into their system. The told us to go to WashM and pay our loan there and WashM would forward our payment to the new loan owner. We walked into WashM. They said they had sold our loan and refused to take our loan payment and forward it to the new loan owner. When we said we wanted them to accept our loan payment because the loan ticket said pay to WashM (the new owner hadn't even sent us anything in the mail yet and we didn't want to be late on our loan). Vicky G. Stark then told us to take a seat in the lobby (which we did) while she would try to reach a more senior bank person than herself to find out what to do with the payment. Then, because she wanted to go home—being that they took 30 mins to try and find out what to do with us and it was now 6:00 pm closing time—the Assistant Financial Center Manager, Vicky G. Stark called the police. We were sitting in the lobby as asked waiting for Vicky to tell us what she found out on the phone when the police came in. The police said that we had been asked to leave the premises. I turned to Vicky and said ''You lied. You never asked us to leave.'' Another employee standing behind her blurted out that yes, she hadn't asked us to leave. Vicky admitted that she had never asked us to leave yet had called the police to remove us from the bank. All along lying to us that she was trying to reach a senior above her to help us GIVE THE BANK THE LOAN PAYMENT THAT ACCORDING TO THE WASHINGTON MUTUAL COUPON STATED HAD TO BE GIVEN TO THEM THAT DAY. So, we had the police called to come get us all because we are trying TO GIVE WASHINGTON MUTUAL MONEY. That's the best way I know to run the bank into bankrupcy and lose customers. Good luck with all that.
