No question about it. He was indeed right to do that. It is all known that it takes a while to get through the nervous nineties. Though it was just a hit away, Sachin may have taken 20-30 minutes to do that. In order to cause some surprise and take Pakistan by surprise, it was a nice move by Rahul.
Sachin can always make his 200s and 300s as he still has some good time left in him to play for the Indian side.
It may be a bit cheepish on Sachin's side to go public.
He definitely made this unintentionally for the betterment of the team. No Individual is bigger than the team and so is the cause for a personal record than a team win
Rahul. It was a nice job and congrats for becoming the first captain to win on Pak soil.
