Sachin Vs Dravid

I have just heard now the heart breaking news about the absence of our captain from the next test and then my eye is caught by this category. I want to write something about the decision made by Rahul Dravid in the 2nd day of the Multan test. In my opinion the decision was sufficient to break the unity of the team India. Rahul Dravid wanted to show his aggressiveness but for this case I think to make 6 runs for Sachin Tendulkar at that stage was not so difficult, he was very set in that batting pitch (According to Shery Flat like a pancake).

At first, talk about the pitch. How many time could take little master to reach his 4th double century ? In that flat pitch Indian bowling got sufficient times yesterday, but they were unable to take a single wicket of the opposition. For team’s sake Sachin has devoted his bat but was it the right decision to hurt him like that? After the day’s game Sachin’s gesture not proves his selfishness. He is human being. He is not God. In that heaven of batsman you always should look for your best batting performance. You always have to give your best effort to earn a single wicket in these kind of pitches and very honestly speaking India do not posses that kind of bowling to expect early wickets in the batting surfaces. Sachin was playing slowly but the time was not so important in that phase of that match.

Rahul Dravid no doubt is one of the greatest batsman in test cricket, but to be aggressive he just spoiled a chance to reach another landmark of the little master. Anything extra is not wanted, and the extra aggressiveness can break the unity of team India.
