A great book produced by the famous sci-fi author h.g.wells.the story tells about a man, the narrator, who tries to survive through the attack by the martians who has invaded earth and starts destroying everything.the attack of martians on spaceships, walking control robots with tentacles equipped with weapons with "heat ray" and poisonous "black smoke as they destroyed every city that got in their way which proved how humans were helpless showed us his imaginative power.the protagonist also played a good role in this novel.
His few encounter with the martians and his struggle and will for survival is nicely displayed.and a fact that fascinated me was that they ultimately died because of not military attacks but of a small earthly organism.overall, it was a good book which showed he is one of the best out there in sci-fi genre.
