The character of the notorius gangster 'Gani Bhai' played by the brilliant 'Prakash Raj' states this one dialogue after he is caught by the commisioner of police played by 'Govind Nameo' - he states that the only thing he can do is present him in Court for a trail and in Court he will state that Amitabh Bachchan is a close friend of his and that Shahrukh Khan is his business partner and that just to prove this wrong, it will take Ten year's!

The loopholes of the judiciary system in India are well known to all but I haven't seen a Indian film where they've actually used such blunt sarcasm to get this point across to the viewer.

Wanted is a pure Hindi film pot boiler and the film makes no qualms about it. A mix of action, comedy and romance told in a story of an arrogant stylish street thug and his hidden plan. 'Radhe' played by 'Salman Khan' is a Wanted man amongst the rival Mumbai underworld gang groups Golden Gang and Dara Pawle's group.

For his sharp nature of getting the 'job' done. On hearing about the mysterious murder of one of his close associates, 'Gani Bhai' played by 'Prakash Raj' returns to Mumbai to bring some order in his group. In all this Radhe falls for this one girl 'Jahnvi' (Ayesha Takia) in what has to be said one of the most unusual yet comic love stories. Though he's not the only one thats fallen for Janhvi, so has this lustful Police inspector(Mahesh Manjrekar) who has nothing to do but harrass her and her family.

As always Love along with the great feeling it may give, will also cause a little problem to anyone, especially when a guy like 'Radhe' hasn't told his lass that he is quite a master at killing a couple of people!

I remember seeing 'Khakee' and realised back then that 'Prakash Raj' is actually a very good actor. In this film he portrays a character we have seen numerous times but when his comic angle starts you see his acting ability shine. The whole segment where he is arrested is superb, infact all his scenes were great to watch - TOP MAN

Ayesha Takia another talent, doesn't have too much to do in the film but still does all her part well. Mahesh Manjrekar, Vinod Khanna, Govind Namdeo, Inder Kumar, Mahek Chahal, Salman's friends, the gangsters, the comedian and the rest of the supporting cast walk through the film, too be honest they don't have huge roles and even if they did, they'll be overshadowed by mister 'peene ka badshah'

Salman Khan finally gets a role that suits him to the T and by watching the film you could see the enjoyment in his face. His performance is real good and just for him, this film becomes a repeat viewing for sure. Thank God there are still a couple of filmmakers like Boney Kapoor who will give him author backed roles and here's hoping more of the same by Salman Khan, a true Bollywood superstar!

The action has its fantasy moments, which is fine by me. The introduction action scene is real good, get pace to it. The one just before the interval and at the end are very engaging too. My favourite one happens to be after the interval just for the arrogance shown by Salman. Vijayan - the action director seems to know that this is a Bollywood film so lets not go over the top!

The music placement of Tose Pyar and Dil Leke were a bit weird. 'Le Le Mazaa', 'Love Me' and 'Jalwa' have excellent choreography - Prabhudeva entering the Jalwa song was superb, Govinda and Anil Kapoor also bring a smile to the face. My favourite song is 'Le Le Mazaa' its fusion of Spanish and Arabian music and its Indian madness is fantastic, added to that Salman and Mahek Chahal dancing to it - TOP STUFF!

The comedy of the film is brilliant - the whole part of 'Kuch Nahi Batana' and the follow up 'Tumhari Maa ki CT' 'Thumhari Maa ka BA' the altercation between the comedian and the police officer is hilarious. The whole 'pyar kiya toh darna kya' part showcasing Ayesha and Salman is genius, infact their love story is so funny especially the Pasta scene and the Andheri post office one. Prakash Raj is just the best in the comic part of the film, so funny, trying to stay awake "Ayye Gani meri jaan sona nahin' HAHHAHAHHAHAHH - LOVE IT

A special mention to the dialogue writer, nice punch in them. Technical aspects run smooth throughout, keeping in mind the genre of the film - its editing and camera work are a little cause for concern though its backed by very good cinematography. Prabhudeva has directed the before down south, has been within films for years and has been and still is a master choreographer - you expect him to do well and he does. Of course with the backing of Boney Kapoor and Salman Khan the man could be a consistent director in Bollywood.

A full on masala film, if you enjoy film's of this genre, this ones definately for you!
