A film off the track

Striking off the 'Aisa' it writes 'waisa' focusing the unconventional & off the track attitude. Underworld is now on the surface level of any society. They are no more pumped as larger than life size. They are our neighbours, they are human, they are natural, they may be you, they may be our children. This film understood it, made it clear with a smart approach with a healthy amount of sense of humour. The director knows how normal citizens behave & how anti-socials, who are not the heads but workers , how they enjoy (try to enjoy) their lives & face death like daily supper.

Puneet shows the lively, energetic, confused, romantic human being leading "aisa hi hota hai life" while Vishnu portrays the dominated, exploited, sensitive, responsible & sensible man leading a "waisa bhi hota hai" life.

The film writs two parts not as consequitive ones, but the events seen from two different angles. The coffee bar scene showing three normal citizens looking at the newspaper and commenting on them give the idea how we common people react to such things happening each day in our city, how rumours are spread and how meaningless and valueless are the lives which are taken in these ventures. The deaths of the singer & the foreigner is a symbolic interpretation of how art & its appreciation are sacrificed in this butchery.

The names Ganpat, Vishnu, Gangu and Agni perhaps represent the battle of powers among the heads of the society. They are perhaps purposefully given mythological names to convey the realization that even our Gods had this battle among themselves.

The friendship of Puneet with vishnu and his gang, Gangu's soft corner for him makes the character a lively and lovable human being, his speech scene arises a great deal of laughter specially when Gangu misinterprets it as his danger of life and he stage manages the situation as any of us will do.

The film has not a single obscene which can't be seen with family, has nice sound tracks and choreography. The music composer went deep inside the concept. Overall it was worth watching, along with its social awareness without showing any conscious effort.

The fallacy of Vishnu's life saved by Puneet and Puneet's brother killed by Vishnu is solved in such a beautiful manner, non-violence is showed in such a simple and humourous and yet sympathetically that it can leave many award winning films behind. It can be followed by each of us. It is an attitude been tried to put up that "It is always not necessary to take revenge on each and every issue, any serious negative happening can be solved by a little sense of honesty, ethics and sweet returns of friendship."

"love" is everywhere just simply, majestically, romantically spread allover the film. It was ditched only by Ganpat, he had the typical villain attitude, which many of us nurture within us. The misbehaviour with Mahima Chowdhury was an unusual scene which is very usual in everyday life. She reveals the embarrasment faced by the film industry which is controlled by such gangstars.

The film is missed out by the reviewers, no such campaigns as things are not over simplified.

Our viewers again gave a proof of missing out real diamonds for imitation. That was natural. Where "lagaan" is the intellectual standard, there what else we can expect.
