WWE 2K16 expands on the simulation-focused style that was introduced last year, and chain wrestling makes a return. The biggest change to the core gameplay is thenew reversal limit. To help cull strings of endless reversals, only a certain number of reversals are available for each wrestler, forcing players to decide if a move is worth reversing.
If you block a punch to the face early on, it could mean you’re left without a reversal when your opponent goes for a finishing move. I found that the limit wasn’t strict enough — reversals recharge over time, so if you play intelligently you’ll always have a reversal when you need it.
